"HULLUCH AT WAR 1914-18"

A bilingual external information panel located at St Mary;s ADS Cemetary near Hulluch, Pas-de-Calais. It commemorates the story of the village in the Great War, in particular the German gas attacks of April 1916, which involved both Irish and Scottish 'New Army' Divisions of the British Expeditionary Force (BEF). The artwork was created in Adobe Photoshop - many of the photographs coming from my own collection - and features in the trilogy of films being made on "Engineering the Loos Salient 1915-2018."
